MISSOURI MAVERICKS

The MISSOURI MAVERICKS are a youth baseball and softball club that allows players to take the next step in their development. The Mavericks were formerly known as the Pacific Junior Indians and have converted to the Mavericks for the 2027 season to help bring in more players from the surrounding areas. We currently serve players from Franklin, St. Louis, Jefferson, and Gasconade counties from over a dozen different schools. We offer club-level training and development for a fraction of the cost, allowing players to take the next step in their baseball development journey.

Matt Trower - President & Founder

Matt has been involved in coaching multiple sports for more than 20 years. In 2022 he opened Ultimate Performance Training in Pacific, MO to bring high-level training to area athletes that might not otherwise have the opportunity to play at a higher level. First developing the Pacific Indians Baseball Club, he saw a need to expand the reach of the program beyond the local area. That need resulted in a rebranding of the club program from the Pacific Indians to the Missouri Mavericks for the 2027 season. The Mavericks will bring a growing level of commitment to developing our players to ensure each athlete becomes the best version of themselves. During the 2026 season Matt continues to coach our 14U Pacific Indians - Trower team as well as our 16U Pacific Indians - Scout team. Each of these teams have been highly successful and have several players who are already making noise or will be making noise at their respective high schools.

Nathan Bruns - Club Director

Nathan has helped a variety of baseball and softball players gain scholarships during his time as a coach & instructor. He is passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential and learning values that will help them both on and off the field. Culture is a huge component of what he does, and he has helped establish that within the Missouri Mavericks brand.

Upon helping establish the creation of the Missouri Mavericks club program, Nathan manages operations, player development, training curriculum, organizing practices & tryouts, game management, and recruiting coordination. He also handles the role of Social Media Specialist while coaching multiple teams within the club.
